Weather Update - Brighton Sunday Games

After personally walking Brighton Sports complex and Pawlowski fields with the field providers, we have come to the conclussion that the fields will not be playable for games on Sunday April 21st.

The fields are currently 95-100% covered in snow. With the lack of sun and the low tempatures today, The snow will not be melting anytime soon.

All games for this weekend are cancelled in Brighton.

After speaking with the field providers, the following fields will be closed Sunday April 21st due to the amount of snow/precipitation currently on the field.

The following divisions are cancelled for the entire weekend:

A decision will be made by 3pm (or sooner) Saturday April 20th about the playability of Brighton Sports Complex and Pawlowski fields for the 14 Maj, 14AAA, 11 Open and 10AA divisions.

All games at Brighton Sports Complex and Pawlowski Fields are cancelled for Saturday April 20th. 

Weather Update - 4.19 @7:30p

The following complex's games are cancelled for Saturday April 20th due to current field conditions, current snow, and forcasted snow overnight:

Long Lake Ranch - All fields
Lutz - All fields
Pioneer Park - All fields
Ray Ross - All fields

Brighton Sports Complex and Pawlowski fields will be on a 2 hour delay. Your original scheduled games have been pushed back 2 hours. Those schedules are updated on the USSSA website. A final determination of field playability of BSC and Pawlowski will be updated by 7a Saturday morning.

If we can play games sunday we will. Schedules will be posted for Sunday games by 12pm on Saturday April 20th. A final determination on playability of the fields for sunday will be made by 6pm Saturday April 20th.

Weather Update 4.19 @10a

We are aware of the forecasted weather for this weekend. We are in, and will be in discussions with the field providers throughout the day. If any updates are provided today we will notify teams accordingly. With the forcasted weather prediction being overnight Fri/Sat rain/snow, it is possible a final decision won't be made until early Saturday morning. Any updates we can provide before tomorrow morning we will. 

Portable Mounds - NO METAL CLEATS

The following fields will have portable mounds for the tournament. NO METAL CLEATS are allowed to be used on portable mounds for 14u and 13u teams. 12U and under are not allowed to wear metal cleats in games. If a pitcher is found to be pitching on a portable mound with metal cleats, the player and the head coach are subject to ejection.

Refund Policy

If 2 or more games have started - No refund

If 1 game has started - 60% of entry fee is refunded

If no games are played - Entry fee refunded minus $100 administration fee

There will be no refunds or transfers given to teams that drop out of the event after the schedule is released

Extra Innings Bracket Play

Bracket play only. If game is tied and time limit or inning limit is reached, we will play California rules for extra innings. 

Last batted out of the previous inning starts at second base, zero outs. Play until winner is decided.
