League Rules

Below are the league rules for the Castle Rock Fall League regular season:

Additional Rules:

Games will have a 1 hour 45 minute time limit. No new inning can start after 1 hour and 45 mintues. There is NO drop dead time limit for games. We will finish the last inning if it started before the time limit of 1:45 

Pitchers are to pitch no more that 7 innings in one day. 

Regular season games CAN end in a tie.

Teams will flip a coin at the home plate meeting for home and away.

Each team is to provide 1 new game ball per game from the dozen balls provided to each team. 

All teams are to have an official roster for each game. That roster needs to be loaded on the USSSA website for each team. If you are using guest players for any games, they need to be on the roster using the USSSA guest player system or on your teams official roster. 

GameChanger results for will be used to enter the final score for each game. Teams will need to email [email protected] the score of each game if you are not using GameChanger during games or if there is some sort of discrepecy in the score of both teams' GameChanger results.

Metzer and Paintbrush are turf fields. There are to be NO metal cleats worn by any player in any games on the turf fields. Rubber cleats, turf shoes, or tennis shoes are acceptable to be worn on turf fields.

League Format

You will need to register your team for the 2025 USSSA season in the USSSA system.

Your team will play in the age division you will play in Spring 2025


8 regular season games - Sept 8th through Oct 13th (Sundays)
Teams will be scheduled 2 games on Sunday throughout the regular season
Sept 8th - 1 game will be scheduled You can request one bye week during the regular season.
Please submit bye week requests before Aug 25th. End of Season single elimination tournament - Oct 20th
Teams will be seeded based off of regular season standings
